Dr. Khaled Bitar

Dr. Khaled Mahmoud Bitar is an orthopedic specialist at Medcare Hospital in Sharjah. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Aden College of Medicine and pursued further studies to obtain a PhD in Orthopedic Surgery from the Ministry of Health in Damascus. Dr. Bitar holds a CABOS fellowship in pediatric deformities and foot surgeries from UMMC in Malaysia and another fellowship in foot and ankle surgery from Hospital 12 de Octubre in Spain. He is a member of the Emirates Orthopaedic Society and the Malaysian Orthopaedic Association.

He gained extensive experience by practicing as an orthopedic surgeon in several prestigious hospitals worldwide, including Khalifa General Hospital, the University Malaya Medical Center in Kuala Lumpur, and Burjeel Hospital in Dubai and Sharjah, before joining Medcare Hospital. His expertise includes sports injuries, foot surgeries, joint replacement, hand surgeries, and microsurgeries. He has successfully corrected pediatric deformities and performed limb-lengthening surgeries. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and traveling, and he is fluent in Arabic and English. His nationalities include Palestinian and Syrian.
