Dr. Amjad Arwani is a highly experienced neurosurgeon, with over 30 years of expertise in the field of neurology and neurosurgery. He has been practicing since March 1994 at the Medical Center in Hama, Syria. He earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Louis Pasteur University in November 1993, in addition to his university degree in neurosurgery from France. He also holds the French Board Certification in Neurosurgery, specializing in the brain, nerves, spine, spinal cord, and herniated discs.
Dr. Arwani has more than 22 years of experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of brain disorders, including migraines, various types of headaches, skull fractures, brain hemorrhages and tumors, epilepsy, facial nerve pain, and hydrocephalus. In the area of spinal health, he addresses cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine pain, as well as sciatic nerve pain associated with herniated discs, spinal slippage, spinal canal stenosis, and infections. He is also proficient in dealing with spinal cord conditions such as tumors, trauma, and cysts, and treats peripheral nerve issues like compression, trauma, and infections, reflecting his extensive expertise and diverse skills in this critical field.
